We're Hiring an Apprentice/Trainee Account Handler in our City Office

We believe in investing in people starting out in their careers and are now seeking an Apprentice to join our Marketline Team. Here are the vacancy details:

Location:

The role is based in our London office - 1 Great Tower Street EC3R 5AA.

The duties of the role:

 

  • To gain a full understanding of the Insurance Market and the inner workings of how an Insurance Broker operates.
  • Work towards achieving Cert CII qualifications within 18 months unless otherwise agreed.
  • Successful Outcomes within the next 12/24 months
  • Attendance at all study days (unless agreed with your Mentor)
  • Work within the Marketline Team, who provide various insurance covers for Market Traders. Your duties will be defined by the Department Manager
  • Take part in organised training in relation to Insurance Products and Insurer Systems
  • Work towards defined targets
  • Build strong relationships with Insurers
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, industry Codes of Practice and the Company’s own procedures and rules
  • Produce a brief report for your Mentor each Friday outlining your activities for the week and your learnings. Highlight any points that that you require additional assistance or training with
  • Undertake any additional duties as may be reasonably requested by the Directors

  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified up to A level
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
